Instagram Now Supports a Dynamic Theme icon
reports that Mishaal Raham has reported the support of a dynamic-themed app icon in the latest version (307.0.0.0.30). If you have Android 13 or a later version on your Galaxy phone, then you will see a themed icon in the Instagram app. The app shows dual-tone icons with the color of your home screen background (using the Monet theming engine).
Long-press the home screen of your Galaxy phone or tablet and tap Wallpaper & Style. Tap the Colour palette to enable the color palette and then the App icon palette.
Recently, several social media apps started to support Material You-themed app icons. Mastodon is one of them. Other apps are LinkedIn, Reddit Telegram Threads, and WhatsApp. This customization option is also supported by most apps from Google, Samsung, and other manufacturers. Soon, more apps will have the ability to customize their appearance.
