TikTok is launching a brand new feature dubbed “Add to Music App” that lets users save music they come across on TikTok through the streaming platforms which allows them to listen to their music.
As per an announcement made by TikTok the previous the 14th of November (November 14) TikTok announced that the “Add Music to the App new feature will launch “in collaboration with major streaming music services like Amazon Music and Spotify“.
The ‘Add to Music App’ will begin rolling out in the next few weeks to users who reside in the US as well as the UK as well as testing on other countries to come.
TikTok declares in its press release that it is “known as being among the most popular places in the world to find both fresh as well as catalog songs, continuously developing viral trends that propel listeners to music on streaming services”.
TikTok’s global head for Music Business Development Ole Obermann stated on Tuesday the brand new cross-platform music savings feature provides “an immediate link between the discovery through TikTok as well as consumption via an online music streaming service”.
